不知不觉,又到岁末年终,我们本学期的探究也随之告一段落

回顾这段时间有趣的生活,孩子们围绕中心思想

在各自的“时空”里,展开了丰富多彩的探究活动

Unconsciously, this semester’s exploration came to an end.

Looking back on the interesting life during this period,

our kids enjoyed colorful exploration activities in their "time and space" relevant to their central ideas.

Central idea: The application of time in our life and the changes brought by it to humankind.

时间是孩子们进入“时空”的大门,而生日与时钟则是小龄宝宝们了解空间最佳的途径。

Time is the door for children to explore something about  "time and space",

while birthday and clock are the best ways for young children to understand what space is.

孩子们在游戏中发现时针、分针、秒针的关系,嘀嗒嘀嗒……

记录着分秒间的变化,组成了我们每个不同的一天

The children found the relationship among the hour hand, minute hand and second hand through a game.

The sounds of “ticking” show the records of changes between minutes and seconds, forming our different days.

“你记得一岁时候的样子吗?”

“妈妈说我小时候是圆滚滚的,现在却很瘦。”

“我小时候头发短,现在长长的。”

"Do you remember your appearance when you were one year old?"

"Mom said I was round and round when I was young, but now I'm very thin."

"My hair was short when I was one year old , but now it's long."

日历上,有关于我们每个人最重要的日子

那一年下来,会有怎样的变化?又有什么方式可以记录这些变化呢?

“如果可以像大树一样,有一圈一圈的年轮就好了。”

“太棒了!那就用树来记录我们的变化吧!”

Everyone can find important days on a calendar.

What happened in the past year? How to record these changes?

"It would be nice if there are annual-rings like a big tree."

"Great! Then we can ‘use’ trees to record our changes!"

“成长树”上,按下今天的手印,明年的今天,会不一样吗?

Let's press handprint on the "growing tree" today. Will it be different next year?

Central idea: Traveling can open our minds, understand local culture and improve our sense of responsibility.

1.选择旅行的目的地和出行方式;

1.Choose the destination and the means of transportation.

2.旅行地的地理特征与当地人生活方式的关系;

2.The relationship between the geographical characteristics of the place we travel and the lifestyle of the local people.

Affected by the pandemic, children don’t have any chance to travel for a long time.

Determining the destination, choosing a way of travel, and making a strategy are indispensable.

我们看到了不同的风景:在空中看云海,在陆地一览绝美的美景、体验不同地域文化

品尝各色美食、也感受2022北京冬奥会不同运动项目的乐趣……

We have seen different landscapes and gained lots of experiences.

We see the sea of clouds in the air and the beautiful scenery on land.

We have experienced different regional cultures, tasted all kinds of delicious food

and enjoyed ourselves when playing different sports related to Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

孩子们带着探究精神在不同的旅程中,成为旅行家、冒险家、美食家……

With the spirit of exploration, children became travelers,

adventurers and gourmets on different journeys.

原来旅行并不仅仅是“玩”那么简单,大家看到了文化差异、学会包容、了解责任

也从中体会到每一次的选择,都存在至关重要的因素和联系

It turns out that travel is not just "playing". We see cultural differences,learn to be open-minded and understand what responsibilities are.

We also realize that there are crucial factors and connections each time we make choices.

Central idea: Know our position in the world will help to cultivate our children in

an internationally diverse environment whilst instilling a solid traditional Chinese foundation.

我们地大物博的祖国竟也有那么多不同的文化和习俗!

Last time, children began to understand the location of home and explore the differences of location, time and culture in different regions.

In the following exploration, our children are pleasantly surprised to find that our vast motherland is also riched in various cultures and customs!

Through different forms of exploration, children could see the past and present of a nation, find out the similarities and differences,

and more deeply realize the charm and inheritance of culture in the "story" with the changes of different years.

心中有梦,眼里有光的孩子们,决定用舞蹈和节拍来演绎经久不衰的民族瑰宝

将所感、所悟,以绽放的姿态呈现于舞台

Children with dreams in their hearts and light in their eyes decided to perform the enduring national treasures with dance and beat,

and present their feelings and understandings on the stage in a blooming posture.

年终的探究评估活动,让我们看到了有着民族精神的小小学习者
