也是孩子们在IB-PYP超学科主题下，以“国庆节”为契机
展开的一次“换”然一新、懂得关爱、大声说爱探究活动
"Love the earth, the motherland,our family and ourself"
is the main melody for Etu children to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
We view this activity held for national day as an inquiry-based activity for children to renew via exchange,
to be caring and to speak out love loudly while they are implementing the IB-PYP transdisciplinary the me.
根植于心底的中国红
Chinese Red in My Heart
有一种感动，叫“中国红”，这是无数中国人
用汗水、泪水、鲜血、信仰、智慧和勇气换来的永不褪色的记忆
We would get touched for “Chinese Red”consisting of sweat、tears、blood、faith、wisdom and courage from our Chinese people.
It will be engraved in our hearts forever.
有一种骄傲，叫“五星红旗”
这是了不起的中国人，用爱铸就的百年辉煌与“中国奇迹”
We are proud of “five-star red flag”.
It represents splendid glory and miracle created by great Chinese people out of love.
“我和我的祖国，一刻也不能分割，无论我走到哪里，都流出一首赞歌……”
稚嫩而深情的歌声，久久回荡在Etu城堡
孩子们手中一抹动人的红，也随着音乐节拍舞动着
现场燃起了全园师生们浓浓的爱国情
“China catches my heart, no one can break us apart, no matter where I travel, you are what I am sing for…”
The childish and affectionate singing echoed in Etu castle for a long time.
Our children held the red flags and waved them with the music.
The strong patriotic feelings of the teachers and students aroused in this way.
这种情，叫“我爱你中国”，是十四亿国人，对脚下这片热土最深沉的爱与呐喊。
This feeling can be spoken out through the sentence—I love you China,which is the deepest love and cry from 1.4 billion people to the land underfoot.
守护地球 与爱共生
Protect the earth and coexist with love
宝贝们将“懂得关爱”这一目标落实到生活中
尤其是为祖国庆生这件意义重大的活动
大家不约而同想到用“闲物置换”、“爱心捐赠”、“文明有我”等方式大声说爱
Our children turned the learner profile—caring into their actions,
which could be especially shown via this significant activity of celebrating the birthday for our motherland.
They all thought of loudly speaking out love by means of exchange, donation and civilizing.
“这些都是我小时候的，我想把它送给需要的人，这样就能和我一样美美的！”
“好期待呀！我想换到一本很有意思的书，然后给弟弟妹妹讲新故事！”
“希望它的新主人和我一样喜欢它们。”

闲置书籍、玩具或衣物等物品，在孩子们的号召下，齐聚一堂
于是“换”然一新、节约资源、与爱共生
便成为了Etu宝贝们对祖国大声说“爱”的方式之一
The old books, toys, clothes and other things were gathered together at the call of our children.
Exchanging, saving resources and coexisting with love became the ways for Etu children to speak out "love" towards their motherland.
这场资源共享与再利用的盛会
是孩子们为爱护地球、守护祖国青山绿水献出的一份纯真力量
也是孩子们在真实的生活与教育环境中
不断提升独立思考、及时反思、胸襟开阔、懂得关爱与社交能力等优秀品质的途径
This great event of resource sharing and reuse is not only a way for children to love the earth and protect the green mountains and rivers of the motherland,
but also a way for children to continuously help themselves to be thinkers, be reflective, open-minded,
and caring as well as to acquire social skills in their real lives and education environment.

As civilized and polite socialist successors in the future, our children keep the food culture of campus in mind.
They practice the action of saving, eat in a civilized way, value food and join in the "clear your plate" campaign.

孩子们体验秩序带来的快乐、也体验自己动手丰衣足食的乐趣
Through the open communication and buffet to celebrate the birthday of the motherland,

此次节庆文化探究，我们围绕“我们是谁”这一超学科主题
将IB国际课程与中华传统文化相结合
通过认识自己、认识家、认识祖国、认识地球，展开一系列庆祝活动
鼓励孩子们在探究、交流、反思中学会尊重文化的多样性、增强民族认同感与爱国意识
In this festival culture exploration, we combined transdisciplinary theme of "who are we" with Chinese traditional culture,
arranging a series of celebration activities to let children know themselves, family, motherland and earth.
We encouraged children to respect cultural diversity and enhance national identity and patriotism through exploration, communication and reflection.
千言万语，汇成了一句简单的“祖国妈妈，我爱您！”

Thousands of words have been merged into a simple sentence "I love you, motherland".
And for our children, patriotism means protecting the environment, saving strictly, being polite and pursuing dreams bravely,
because these behaviors are the representation of our teachers and students’love towards our country and resolution.
